About the Role

Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. De R.L. De... is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at one of our Fulfillment Centers. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly employees and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement staffing plans, schedules, and quality initiatives to meet business objectives.
  • Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold team members accountable for their performance.
  • Leverage the Operations and Area Managers to source and nurture ideas for improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with support staff to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.
  • Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA from IIM/XLRI.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.
  • Post MBA experience.
  • Strong Operations Management experience in manufacturing, production, distribution environment or related industry.
  • Supervisory responsibility for a minimum of 100 hourly employees.
  • Basic/Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.
  • Excel skills.
