Job Summary

Danfoss is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Reynosa, Mexico. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing financial support to our plant controller, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing operations by reviewing various aspects of plant operations, including manpower analysis, trend analysis, and cost savings.
  • Analyze plant expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with all SOX and Corporate Audit requirements.
  • Complete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations according to Danfoss financial policy.
  • Assist with the annual physical inventory and reconciliation.
  • Ensure on-time completion of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting requirements.
  • Participate in month-end closing and forecast processes.
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.
  • Assist with the annual profit planning process.
  • Support and/or participate in Continuous Improvement Activities, such as Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out, and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maquiladora in a similar position.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Familiar with Finance information Systems (Oracle, SAP, DFT, MFGPro).
