Quality Assurance Lead

About the Role
The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of supplier-manufactured material. This involves qualifying new suppliers, developing existing suppliers, and driving resolution of supplier quality problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive supplier selection and qualification through robust part qualification processes.
- Interface with suppliers to implement quality improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage supplier/engineering changes.
- Lead root cause investigations of significant supplier quality problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing, or Engineering role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing, or Engineering role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Quality role.
- Statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.
