The Accounting Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for overseeing various accounting activities, including reviewing and reconciling accounts, preparing and approving journal entries, and maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and reconcile accounts, prepare and approve journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
  • Assist and lead a team on the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review periodic account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist the treasury function by approving cash payments and cash receipts transactions as needed.
  • Participate in the new ERP implementation, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with large ERP systems, such as INFOR/LN.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of staff throughout the organization.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
