Your Role:

This position involves proactively reaching out to customers to collect overdue payments, maintaining updated records, analyzing differences, issuing credit notes, and making adjustments when necessary. You will establish priorities to achieve goals and effectively execute tasks while communicating recommendations to other areas or peers as needed. You will also prepare reports with credit information to support decision-making processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement collection strategies, such as reconciling portals and portfolios for assigned accounts like Walmart and international accounts with different time zones. This includes processing payments, write-offs, and credit memos, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Analyze trends, identify non-payments, and independently manage claims, adjustments, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations, and credit memos while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide customer service for collection issues, process refunds, review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies, and process payments.
  • Prepare and submit outstanding receivables reports, recognizing non-payment trends and resolving issues by engaging internal partners.
  • Analyze and research customer receivable delinquency, determining communication methods to facilitate payment.
  • Maintain effective relationships with sales teams and other business areas as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties to support the Accounts Receivable Department.

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced professional with 2-3 years of experience in FMCG, holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field. Knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Credit and Collections procedures is essential, along with SAP experience. Additionally, strong attention to detail, goal orientation, commitment to excellent customer service, and adaptability are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently with diverse teams, cultures, environments, and time zones are necessary.
