**Job Summary**
The Chemours Company is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality management system, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous quality improvement within the manufacturing organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Ensure the quality process operates in a safe and ethical manner consistent with Chemours' core values.
- Support or lead Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including the disposition of off-spec production and non-conforming product.
- Ensure product release in a timely manner, including the follow-up of property release samples and testing.
- Identify and implement solutions to manufacturing issues related to quality.
- Monitor raw material performance and fit for use as it relates to productivity.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and interface directly with customers to support sample testing, complaints, and problem resolution.
- Support or lead Quality Management System (QMS) within the organization, conducting and coordinating internal audits to sustain QMS standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical equipment, including Gas Chromatography, Titrators, pH meter, balances, and ovens.
- Analyze standards to verify functionality of equipment and calibration of instruments to produce accurate test results.
- Maintain lab equipment parts, supplies, and chemical inventory, entering samples and data into the Lab Information Management System (LIMS) and retrieving data as required.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Fluent English.
- 3 years of industrial experience.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment with similar operations is preferred.
- Must be willing to work an 8-hr rotating shift.
- Computer skills and experience following Standard Operating Procedures or Guidelines.
- Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment).
