Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at MAHLE. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of components to our production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of raw materials based on production plans and inventory levels.
- Review demand coverage with suppliers and secure material transit through EDI.
- Develop worksheets to determine demand variation and monitor supplier shipment arrivals.
- Follow up on payments to suppliers and monitor engineering changes to avoid obsolescence.
- Participate in the fulfillment of company plans, objectives, and goals.
Requirements
- Career in Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position with contact with suppliers.
- Bilingual English/Spanish (intermediate-advance level).
- Knowledge of MRP Management System (SAP essential).
- Inventory Management, DOH, SUT.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Automotive industry experience (Tier 1 is a plus).
