Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Audit Coordinator at The Chemours Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with country regulations and maintaining its "right-to-operate" in the Country. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination of End-to-End statutory and tax audit process in compliance with country regulations.
  • Translation of audit requirements into actionable activities towards internal stakeholders, including methodology, documentation requirements, and verification of data correctness and completeness.
  • Proactive follow-up of deliverables of audit requirement, including timely delivery of validated information as per agreed requirements.
  • Resolution of all outstanding audit issues timely and accurately to complete the process.
  • Interaction with all functions and departments, including Global Controllership, Treasury, Business Finance, Tax, Business Operations, serving as a primary liaison with external auditors.
  • Ensuring that all testing needs are met and the Company timely and adequately responds to any inquiries submitted by the auditors.
  • Analysis of the company's internal controls to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analysis of the overall methodology regarding the Client Assistance Program to identify and lead structural improvement opportunities to reduce overall cycle time.

Key Relationships:

You will build and maintain superior relationships with our Center of Excellence in Asturias (Spain), or external service providers and US Corporate Finance function, as well as with external stakeholders including auditors and tax advisors.
