**Job Summary**:
Ergomotion is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and overseeing our Quality Management System (QMS) standards and processes in North America.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage and maintain all relevant systems, procedures, standards, and requirements as defined in the QMS.
- Interface with departments and customers to ensure products meet required standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance of QMS-related objectives.
- Respond to questions from factory employees, Ergomotion teams, customers, and management to meet production quality goals and customer needs.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the QMS.
- Conduct regular internal and process audits of the QMS.
- Pursue thorough investigation of root cause to ensure corrective actions and preventative measures are sufficient for addressing nonconformities.
- Verify closure of non-conformities via confirmation of corrective action/preventative measure effectiveness through data collection.
- Organize and compile quality data to achieve clear, consistent, efficient processing and reporting of quality statistics.
- Analysis and reporting on defective warranty part 'returns' with a goal of targeting supplier reimbursement and reconciliation with Ergomotion and OKIN.
- Liaise between customers, Ergomotion teams, and OKIN regarding quality issues, product performance, requirements, and standards.
- Manage the Quality Assurance process to support continuous quality improvement as necessary through audit reviews and reporting procedures.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 5 years of direct quality systems experience, or equivalent.
- Fluent verbal and written language skills in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated ability in investigation, root cause identification, corrective action, and quality improvement processes.
- Availability to work extended hours, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time (domestic and international).
