Job Description:

  • Manage the preparation of monthly financial reports, including P&L and balance sheet analysis, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
  • Support management in key projects, including new country integration, acquisitions, and re-organizations, by providing financial guidance and expertise.
  • Drive process improvements across Americas companies, leveraging technical accounting skills and attention to detail to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Design and implement new processes and practices to support business growth and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the AR/AP shared service center to ensure balance sheet accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Review detailed monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Work with other Americas sites to achieve clean month-end close on key balances, promoting consistency and quality.
  • Lead and develop team members, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Assist with interim and year-end audits, preparing audit files and liaising with the audit team to ensure smooth execution.
  • Respond to technical queries from stakeholders, demonstrating excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Contribute to the development and reporting of financial projections and budgets, utilizing advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SAP.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a controller or in a similar role is highly beneficial.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with various accounting standards and adapting to new requirements.
  • Ability to travel when required for project implementations, supporting business growth and objectives.
  • Excellent analytical skills, identifying and resolving issues proactively, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SAP, driving process improvements and enhancing efficiency.
  • Excellent numerical and technical analysis skills, delivering high-quality results and meeting business objectives.
  • Attention to detail, with high accuracy and a focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to add value by identifying opportunities or issues and implementing solutions that drive business growth and improvement.
