About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team in Mexico. As a Sales Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for current programs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing capacity studies from OEMs to ensure timely and accurate responses
  • Auditing CAR certifications for all Lear facilities
  • Performing on-site trainings for CAR leaders within the E-Systems division
  • Managing tooling expenses recoveries for Lear NA E-Systems facilities
  • Responding to OEM tooling audits
  • Supporting the NA Commercial team on quoting activities
  • Closing open commercial issues in a timely manner while maintaining good relationships with customers
  • Improving customer relationships
  • Serving as a single point of contact for OEM customers (purchasing, program, engineering)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably with a Tier 1 supplier
  • Full bilingual proficiency
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of the automotive industry, managerial accounting, customer purchasing practices, negotiation skills, and bump chart development
