**Job Overview**

At TE Connectivity, we're looking for a talented software development engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Design and develop security features of products, including systems, applications, and/or solutions

• Ensure the security of all products is maintained throughout the product lifecycle

• Integrate new security features, updates into existing products, and resolve integration and testing issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects

• Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer/Data Science, or a related field

• Strong understanding of software design concepts, including object-oriented design, client-server models, and compiled vs. interpreted execution

• Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, unit testing, and revision control systems

• Proficiency in programming languages, including C++, Qt, Python, and Node.js

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience with performance evaluation of AI models, interfacing to variety of sensors used in machine control and automation, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) protocols

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum framework

• Experience with cloud-based development tools and platforms

• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance with industry standards
