We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will work with systems that process large-scale data, designing and implementing scalable data processing systems, including data pipelines, advanced ETL processes, data warehouses, and data lakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data processing systems, including data pipelines, advanced ETL processes, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Work with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and its solutions related to data processing.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using Python 3.x or Scala, with a focus on object-oriented programming principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data processing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for designing scalable data processing systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and its solutions related to data processing.
  • Proficiency in Python 3.x or Scala, with a focus on object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with relational database management systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
  • Understanding of distributed data processing systems, such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
  • Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Day-to-day work experience with Docker.
  • Good communication skills in English (minimum B2).
  • Eagerness to develop yourself and learn new technologies.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of message broker systems, such as Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
  • Experience with orchestration tools, such as Apache Airflow or Dagster.
  • Knowledge of search systems, such as ElasticSearch or Solr.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Github Actions.
  • Experience with implementing solutions using frameworks, such as Hadoop, Hive, or Presto.
  • Experience with machine learning or statistics.
  • Other development skills, such as REST API or GraphQL.
  • Data scraping experience.
