Market Planner Job Description

Coty is a leading beauty company with a global presence, and we're seeking a skilled Market Planner to join our team. As a Market Planner, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company's future by analyzing market trends, developing demand forecasts, and optimizing inventory levels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations, manage inventory levels, and mitigate potential risks.
  • Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory levels, adjust storage capacities, and implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Commercial Meetings and Communication: Lead commercial meetings to review pipelines, manage country fulfillment, and communicate product availability and potential supply issues to customers and sales teams.
  • Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment: Conduct financial analysis, assess inventory storage capabilities, and anticipate stock requests based on market trends and business assumptions.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with marketing, trade marketing, and commercial teams to develop seasonal demand forecasts, manage NPI/NPD projects, and provide support to sales and marketing teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Planner, or CPFR Senior.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills; proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and demand programs.
