About the Role

HARMAN International is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  2. Conduct inspections and monitor equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  4. Supervise and coordinate the work of installation technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and provide necessary permits for work to be performed.
  6. Validate work completed and ensure high-quality results.
  7. Respond to emergency calls and provide timely support to resolve issues.
  8. Communicate daily with supervisors to report work completed and pending.
  9. Identify and report any risk situations or equipment malfunctions to the load team.
  10. Anticipate and procure spare parts for equipment under load.
  11. Follow up on material purchase requisitions and ensure timely delivery.
  12. Conduct regular tours to review facility conditions and identify areas for improvement.
  13. Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks for building equipment.
  14. Participate in quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets, and programs.

Requirements

  1. Leadership, integrity, innovation, inclusion, teamwork, and respect.
  2. Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience as a facilities technician or facilities leader.
  3. Experience in a manufacturing industry.
  4. Understanding of electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and cooling systems.
  5. Plumbing knowledge.
  6. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electric, electronic systems schematics, and technical manuals.
  7. Chiller and water treatment experience.
  8. Molding machines basic conditions and installations.
  9. High school or technical career in mechanics, electromechanics, electrical.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Knowledge in medium voltage, electrical installations, pneumatics.
  2. Knowledge in compressors.
  3. Knowledge in electrical substations.
  4. Knowledge of molding process.
  5. Leadership skills.
  6. Change orientation.
