Accountant III Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant III to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with the GL Accounting Lead and Local Reporting Manager to resolve issues and communicate changes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Provide analytical support to the finance team, including variance analysis and financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on local and US GAAP reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Experience with shared service centers is a plus.
