Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Asset Manager to join our team at Constellation Brands. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's fixed assets accounting activities.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will have experience in fixed asset management, SAP systems, and capitalization processes. You will work closely with our projects and capex teams to ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with corporate policies.

Responsibilities

  • Capitalization Process Management: Manage the creation, disposal, transfers, and capitalizations of fixed assets in SAP, ensuring accurate balance sheet figures and depreciation values.
  • GL Account Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Review: Prepare and review general ledger accounts reconciliations and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Internal Control Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal control matrix compliance by performing quarterly self-audits and analyzing business implications to minimize risk.
  • User Requirements: Attend to specific user requirements by understanding stakeholder needs and supporting decision-making processes.
  • Physical Inventory: Perform fixed assets physical inventory according to corporate policy to guarantee accurate financial statements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • At least 7-8 years of experience in finance areas, with expertise in fixed assets and capitalization processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and Excel advanced level.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to design and implement improvements in capitalization processes.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $1,200,000 - $1,500,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
