We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Mexico City. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pastry department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
• Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays to enhance the dining experience.
• Monitor the quantity of food prepared and inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items.
• Prepare special meals or substitute items as needed, and assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks.
• Provide cooks with needed items and monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and food products, and ensure the quality of food items meets specifications.

• 4 to 6 years of related work experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree in a related field.
