Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing activities related to the design and optimization of our manufacturing processes.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our processes meet or exceed safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals. You will analyze problems, propose solutions, and provide written instructions when deviations or modifications to processes, materials, or specifications are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Launch high-complexity programs for high-pressure and high-purity applications.
  • Define and execute manufacturing standards for CNC programming, tooling, and perishable tools.
  • Analyze problems, propose solutions, and provide written instructions for process deviations or modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management system procedures and EHS department standards.
  • Develop improvement projects to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
  • Hold information meetings on department status, projects, and future plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in manual and automated manufacturing processes or equivalent experience in mechanical, electromechanical, or industrial engineering.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal skills to facilitate effective communication of technical ideas.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen).
  • High experience in problem-solving tools (Pareto analysis, Why's, Sigma, As).
  • CNC programming experience for main manufacturers (Mazak, Okuma, Hass).
  • Experience launching new products for fabrication areas.
  • Centralized programs and databases for all CNCs at fabrication areas (DNC).
  • Knowledge of ISO certification requirements and foundations.
  • Basic knowledge of safety, ergonomics, and accident prevention concepts.
  • Relevant industry experience with a proven track record of handling system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects (process automation, systems, and instrumentation).
  • Experience using software/applications (Oracle, MS Office, Solid Edge, Project).
