Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance department in an industrial/manufacturing environment, developing strategies to increase productivity and meet departmental goals. This role requires ensuring that all maintenance operations align with company policies and regulations, coordinating with other departments to optimize operations and productivity, and implementing cost-effective solutions for maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the maintenance department in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and meet departmental goals.
- Ensure that all maintenance operations align with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize operations and productivity.
- Implement cost-effective solutions for maintenance operations.
- Identify and address issues that could disrupt production.
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
- Maintain and improve maintenance programs for induction furnaces.
- Oversee the maintenance of machinery and facilities.
- Lead, train, and motivate the maintenance team to achieve high performance.
Requirements
A successful Maintenance Manager should possess:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a maintenance manager role within the industrial/manufacturing sector of at least 5 years.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in processes with hot forging machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
