We are seeking a dedicated and caring Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Right at Home of Northeast, MS.

About the Role: As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide non-medical care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, and dressing.
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
• Perform patient-specific activities, such as assisting with the change of ostomy appliances and reinforcement of dressings.
• Perform homemaking activities, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Pass a written competency evaluation with 80% or higher.
• Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• Successful completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
