Job Title: Production Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at Sensient Technologies. As a key member of our Flavors & Extracts Latin America business, you will play a critical role in coordinating and planning production processes in our Celaya, Guanajuato manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and confirm customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with the Customer Service area.
  • Run and review MRP Detail messages to place raw and packaging material requisitions with the purchasing area, specifying quantities and delivery dates.
  • Develop and implement efficient production plans, coordinating with relevant areas to achieve short- and long-term goals.
  • Monitor and follow up on production progress to ensure adherence to the original production plan.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemical, Food, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least three years of experience in production and materials planning.
  • Extensive experience in inventory planning and control.
  • Experience in purchasing raw materials.
  • Strong understanding of OTD performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards/SAP system.
  • Excellent Excel and Access skills.
