About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team at TE Connectivity Corporation.

Job Description
  • Plan and schedule the movement of materials through the production cycle, ensuring timely delivery and efficient inventory management.
  • Determine quantity and order date for materials based on production or engineering schedules, forecasts, and historical analysis.
  • Develop specifications for new contract orders, forecast labor requirements, and monitor supplier performance.
Responsibilities:
  1. Review and analyze planned sales order requirements suggested by MRP.
  2. Release finished product for shipment and create production orders.
  3. Communicate with Customer Service to establish agreements and coordinate on-time delivery.
  4. Monitor production plan compliance, changes in planning, and review material availability.
  5. Plan and manage inventory levels of parts manufactured in the plant, considering flow and space constraints.
  6. Collaborate with various departments related to the supply chain and prioritize tasks with warehousing, manufacturing, and production.
  7. Maintain optimal inventory stock for the production plan and confirm scheduled material pickups.
  8. Perform demand and capacity analysis, review short reports, and complete assignments in RTS.
  9. Generate purchase orders based on exception messages in SAP, taking into account last purchases and FAI requirement analysis.
Requirements:
  • Education: Industrial Engineer, Business Management Engineer, Bachelor of Commerce.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a similar position.
  • Skills: English, SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel), VSM, problem-solving tools (5 why's/root cause, 8D's, Ishikawa, etc.).
