Packaging Design Engineer

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a skilled Packaging Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our packaging design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative packaging solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop packaging projects for customers, including packaging calculation and design
  • Fabricate packaging samples for testing and customer review
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, drawings, and quotations
  • Perform packaging validation tests, including ISTA and customer-specific tests
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop packaging solutions for customers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as packaging engineering or design
  • 4-6 years of experience in packaging design engineering, preferably with a certification in ISTA CPLP Technical Level
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Artios, and SolidWorks
  • Experience with Sealed Air products, such as Instapack, Korrvu, and Void Fill, is a plus
