Your Role

This position reports directly to the SSC Head and Site Director. As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will lead and manage process teams through planning, talent management, and retention. You will be responsible for R2R process and financial accounting activities, including Financial Reporting in LATAM, general ledger maintenance, financial close, full balance sheet review, tax accounting and filing, treasury, fixed assets, etc.

You will deliver a high standard of customer service in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), agreed performance indicators, Group internal controls, and Group Policies. Your goal is to maintain SSC's reputation and excellent relationships with internal clients and Group stakeholders, sourcing formal feedback.

You will identify areas to maximize effectiveness and efficiency in the Process, participate in improvement projects without deteriorating the quality of client delivery. You will demonstrate cost responsibility, ensuring teams have the tools, training, and resources to optimize performance in compliance with budget and objectives.

You will be responsible for the overall performance of the team, monitoring their performance, providing timely feedback, and assisting them to improve on their identified training needs. You will identify clear objectives for the team, providing coaching, career development, and feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage process teams through planning, talent management, and retention.
  • Responsible for R2R process and financial accounting activities, including Financial Reporting in LATAM.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service in compliance with SLAs, agreed performance indicators, Group internal controls, and Group Policies.
  • Maintain SSC's reputation and excellent relationships with internal clients and Group stakeholders.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced professional with:

  • An excellent understanding of R2R processes through the LATAM region, their associated risks, and mitigating internal controls.
  • An excellent understanding of Operations, Quality management, and SLA frameworks.
  • A good understanding of budgetary and resource requirements.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, such as IFRS and internal control principles, both in theory and in practice.
  • Expertise in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP and JDE) as well as GL modules.
