Job Summary:

Gowanco, a leading family-owned business, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Formulator Trainee to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the formulation of products in a designated area of training.
• Work under the guidance of a supervisor and shadow experienced Formulators or Operators to gain hands-on experience.
• Develop knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals.

Requirements:

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
• Occasional movement around the plant site.
• Regular lifting and/or moving of objects weighing 5-50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing.
• Certification to operate a forklift.
• Confined space entry.
• Knowledge of all EHS and Quality policies.
• Ability to train other personnel.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to use tools and train others in their use.
• Working knowledge of math and communication skills.
