Job SummaryAs a Lead Massage Therapist at Accor Hotels, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa experiences to our guests. You will lead and train a team of service providers to ensure consistent high standards are met. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure our guests have a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Professional Service: Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests.
- Create a Welcoming Atmosphere: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance and create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and guests.
- Lead and Train Team: Lead the training programs with the service providers and observe team members' performance to assist accordingly.
- Perform Massage Treatments: Perform 45, 60, 90, and 120-minute massages as required, maintaining the client's comfort at all times.
- Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectations.
- Maintain a Clean Environment: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
- Assist with Spa Operations: Assist with the removal of linen and towels for expedited service and actively participate in other areas of the spa operations.
- Upsell and Promote Retail Sales: Use upselling techniques to actively promote retail sales and enhancements.
- Maintain Brand Standards: Maintain all brand and quality luxury service standards, including Forbes/LQA and Fairmont standards.
- Conduct Audits and Feedback: Conduct audits amongst the team, conduct self-audits, and participate in the feedback review to improve service levels.
- Ensure Confidentiality: Ensure confidentiality of all guest sensitive information at all times.
- Follow Policies and Procedures: Follow departmental policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation policies.
- Certification: Certification from an accredited school of Massage required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a lead therapist required, with previous training experience also preferred.
- Licenses: All professional licenses must be current.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, highly responsible and reliable, ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
