We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Knorr-Bremse. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing indirect purchases and inventory control, as well as implementing cost reduction initiatives and supplier relationship agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve supplier relationships
- Manage inventory levels and control costs through effective inventory management practices
- Lead cost reduction initiatives and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes
- Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
