Role Overview
The KION Group is seeking a Project Systems Specialist to manage configuration changes and enhancements within SAP Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful implementation of SAP Project Systems (PS), providing functional expertise, guidance, and training on SAP products to users.
- Create intricate estimates within SAP PS and integrate project variations into cost forecasting, revenue, and budget reporting.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with intercompany processes in SAP PS.
- Utilize Fiori Gantt Chart for scheduling project timelines effectively.
- Design and implement core functionalities of SAP PS structures, including WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement Planning, Project Quotation, Time Sheets, and Goods Issues.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, design, implementation, and support of SAP PS to enhance business functionality and performance.
- Configure the SAP system in the areas of SAP PS based on requirements collected during blueprinting sessions.
- Develop process models to assess the completeness of information and process components based on business requirements.
- Analyze business requirements through information-gathering sessions with clients, documenting an accurate understanding of their needs and mapping them to SAP business processes.
- Provide support for business applications or infrastructure to maintain productivity levels, including international support.
- Monitor risks and issues, preparing appropriate mitigation plans.
- Deliver basic SAP training to end-users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Project Systems.
- Experience with 3 or more full life cycle implementations of SAP is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CPM is preferred.
- Experience in SAP EC&O industry with S/4HANA and SAP FIORI.
- Experience in S/4HANA Implementation projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP PS, Network, WBS, and overall SAP integration with other components/modules.
- Experience in creating cost plans from approved estimates.
- Ability to compare estimates with project forecasts and actual costs.
- Desired experience with PPM/CPM implementations.
- Integration knowledge with various SAP modules like MM, QM, CO, PP, PM, WM, SD, and FI.
- Proficient in using Project Management tools (e.g., JIRA) and preparing project reports.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and processes.
- Strong communication skills in English (C1/C2 level required).
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%.
