This is a key leadership role that will provide strategic direction and oversight for our EHS management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance to EHS teams across the organization, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage and maintain our EHS management system, including development and implementation of key programs such as BBS, Safety Leadership, Energy Efficiency, Ergonomics, Machine Safety, etc.
- Develop and maintain EHS data collection, management, and reporting applications, including provision of training and support.
- Manage and support EHS ISO certification for matrix sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Complete ZF Group Level EHS Management Review and reporting to Board Member responsible for EHS and Sustainability.
- Manage environmental remediation program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Degree in Environmental and/or Safety Engineering and Management or closely related field, with a strong focus on results-oriented and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety and environmental management.
- Thorough working knowledge and understanding of EHS compliance regulations, including ISO EHS Standard Requirements.
- Strong knowledge of developing processes and practices related to key EHS program areas, including BBS, Safety Leadership, Energy Efficiency, Ergonomics, Machine Safety, etc.
- Experience in implementing and managing EHS Management System requirements, including ISO EHS Standard Requirements.
