THE COMPANYOur client is a global company that provides glass packaging solutions for various industries, including cosmetics and perfumery, specialty food and beverage and pharmaceuticals. The Specialty Food and Beverage segment provides bottles for wine, liquor and the food industry. Our client has three facilities in India and Sri Lanka. Each facility offers various specialties in their multiple product range making it a uniquely positioned organization to cater to various markets with personalized services. THE POSITION Main Responsibilities: Develop and regularly update on Specialty (liquor) Market – Overview and Analysis Make the strategy to develop Annual Sales Budgeting for Assigned Customers and New Potential Accounts Accountable for Development and Growth of the assigned existing customers and new accounts – craft distilleries, mid-size to large multi-national companies To understand the Customer Requirements and Expectations in Order to Recommend Specific Products and Solutions Recommend Alternate Products Based on Cost, Availability or Specifications. Provide Monthly Reports Consisting of Account Sales Summaries, Aged Inventory, Sales Projections, Account Receivables and Other Pertinent Sales Information. Technically oriented or keen to learn about the technical aspect of glass manufacturing and decoration. Make Presentations to customers. Takes a personal interest in the business of their assigned customer. Work with overseas manufacturing sites. THE CANDIDATE Technical / Functional Competencies: Sales experience developing distilleries glass business in Mexico (+10-15 yrs) Management / Directive experience Experience with creating strategy to develop Sales Budgeting for Assigned Customers and Potential Accounts Technically oriented to aspects glass manufacturing and decoration for distilleries (wine & spirits, etc.). Experience with elaboration of technical monthly reports consisting of Account Sales Summaries and Aging Inventory. Experience with Sales Projections, Account Receivables and Other Pertinent Sales Information. Knowledge of glass manufacturing & new product development is preferable Strong customer orientation Strong knowledge of branding and social media will be an added advantage Behavioral Competencies: Welcomes new ideas and puts them into action. Proactive Business development to improve customer experience. Values diversity of backgrounds and opinions Research market trends to identify emerging customer needs. Builds feedback mechanisms to address customer expectations. Proven track record of exhibiting good problem-solving skills and being a dependable, self-motivated employee. Planning and organizational skills – prioritization, resource allocation, multi-tasking Action orientation Good, professional, verbal and written communication skills are a must. Fluent in English and Spanish
