Head of HR Latin America – Software Industry

The Role:Reporting to the HR Director, located in the USA, you will collaborate with the organization’s leaders to increase organizational efficiency and conduct high-performance culture within the region while positioning plans, strategies, and initiatives with Global HR teams in The Americas. You will be responsible for: Managing the LATAM HR team to provide consistent services and practices to the employees according to each country and business needs. Representing the global HR function, providing full-service HR business partner/consulting cooperation to client groups, and acting as the HR expert that the business trust, to make critical decisions that will have a true impact both short and long term. Developing and building consistent HR processes that support corporate functions and comply with local law practices and corporate requirements. Generating, managing, and delivering regional and global HR projects at the highest standards. Coaching and counseling leaders and managers. Providing tools and direction that enable management efficiency and drive high organizational performance. Guaranteeing the success of key programs and HR initiatives, such as talent reviews, succession planning, onboarding, hiring, operational improvements, and employee development planning. Motivating the organization to maintain and preserve our company values and leadership principles by enabling the adoption of our Talent Management programs. The Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related. At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources within a management role supporting global companies, ideally in rapidly growing high-tech (IT / Telecom) organizations. International experience and supporting other countries in Latin America strongly focused on HR processes, policies, and compliance. Comprehensive knowledge of Mexican labor law combined with exceptional organizational, time management, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Highly developed analytical skills coupled with strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation). An entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of urgency, the motivation to assume significant responsibilities as an HR business leader, and the ability to effectively manage multiple remote locations. Business level English is required. Portuguese is desirable.
