Job Summary

The Test Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing processes. With a focus on automation and generative AI the candidate will contribute to the development and execution of test frameworks. This position requires expertise in Auto-Verification and validation and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash and CAPL.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure software quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Utilize Automation Desk and vTestStudio to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Design and execute automated test scripts using Python Bash and CAPL.
  • Apply generative AI techniques to enhance test coverage and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough verification and validation of software components in the automotive domain.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve test frameworks to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
  • Coordinate with project managers to align testing activities with project timelines.
  • Travel as required to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders. Qualifications
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Automation Desk and vTestStudio for effective test automation.
  • Exhibit strong scripting skills in Python Bash and CAPL for developing robust test scripts.
  • Possess expertise in generative AI to innovate testing methodologies.
  • Have a solid understanding of Auto-Verification and validation processes.
  • Show excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Display a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Certifications Required

ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Analyst
