Product Development Engineer
Durango City, Mexico | Full-time | Permanent | In-person
We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to join our team in Durango City. This role plays a key part in translating customer requirements into accurate 2D and 3D designs, Bills of Materials, and manufacturing routings, supporting both customers and fabrication processes.
You will work closely with customers and machine shops in the U.S.A. and Canada, so strong technical and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 2D and 3D product representations
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings
- Support customers with product specifications and design requirements
- Collaborate with fabrication and machine shops to ensure manufacturability
- Ensure designs align with metalworking processes and standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering required)
- Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory
- Advanced SolidWorks user
- Knowledge of metalworking processes
- Ability to work on-site in Durango City
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens NX (1+ year).
- Previous experience in product development or manufacturing environments
