This job might be for you if you fit the following requirements:

Sr Designer - Technical Degree in related field or an Advanced level of technical experience in related field with 2-4 years of mechanical experience directly within the assigned product line

Engineer - Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or Technical Degree within related field with 2-4 years of mechanical engineering experience directly within the assigned product line

Favorable annual performance reviews and meets the competency level and skill level requirement for the job code

Translates ETO customer requirements into customized solutions for medium-high complexity projects for assigned product line

Serves as an account owner for at least one key account, segment or a specific application

What do you get to do in this position?

• Ability to design sheet metal, bus and related mechanical parts and assemblies for the product line assigned. This includes understanding of the material requirements and fabrication processes to create 2D and 3D models. Prediction of finished part dimensions after forming must be demonstrated. Understand the application and mechanical properties of the materials used.
• Demonstrates capability of 2D and/or 3D modifications of medium complexity parts and assemblies for adaptation into assigned order.
• Collaborates with Design Engineering and Technical Antenna team to ensure compliance and design intent of customer mechanical parts/assemblies are maintained.
