Job Title: Software Quality Engineer
Location: Mexico or Costa Rica supporting US time zone(Remotely)
Duration: 12 Months contract
We're looking for a Quality Engineer on a contractor basis (only) to build solutions for our clients and to benefit from our Digital Business Platform. We want to deliver a wow factor to our clients, and your focus on helping us build and ship a high-quality product is a massively important part of that.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality of software deliveries
- Development of test strategies, test plans etc.
- Continuous identification and implementation of quality improvements
- Definition and review of quality criteria
- Test automation of End2End business processes
- Ensure non-functional requirements are satisfied e.g. performance, security & usability
- Drive quality improvements in development team
- Run quality focused meetings e.g. triage calls & defect reviews
What you bring to the role:
- Prior experience as a QA engineer, Software Engineer in Test, Test Automation engineer, Developer, leveraging software QA tools and processes.
- Prior experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI testing, Automated testing, Test driven development strategies etc.
- Experience in Agile framework, unit testing libraries/framework (JAVA based)
- Understanding how and where testing fits in CI/CD pipeline
- Experience in cloud-based testing is a plus
- Experience in building testing environments is a plus
- Understanding of the technologies in Spring Stack
- Experience in designing and implementing automated testing infrastructure.
- Strong ability to work in a collaborative manner
