Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark, ensuring alignment with AWS cloud-native best practices
  • Migrate and refactor existing ETL workflows from Informatica to AWS Glue, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
  • Develop and maintain XML scripts for ETL migration and data transformation tasks
  • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to ensure secure, reliable, and automated data migration processes
  • Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to all migration and development activities, focusing on operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data migration, transformation, and integration
  • Document migration processes, data flows, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, and Informatica
  • Strong experience designing and migrating ETL pipelines in cloud environments
  • Proficiency in XML scripting for ETL and data transformation
  • Deep understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, security, and operational best practices
  • Experience with automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting in AWS data migration projects
  • Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and cloud-native development standards
  • English proficiency at B2 Upper-Intermediate level or higher
