Interim HealthCare is a home care and healthcare staffing agency in South Plainfield, New Jersey providing in-home healthcare and staffing solutions to organizations. We are looking for a Healthcare Recruiting & Customer Service Coordinator to help us build and support a great caregiver team while delivering excellent service to our clients.

This is a front-line operations role that combines recruiting, scheduling, and caregiver support. You'll play a key part in keeping the business running smoothly day-to-day.

What You'll Do

Recruiting

  • Review caregiver applications from Indeed and other job boards
  • Conduct phone interviews and screen candidates
  • Check references and help onboard new caregivers
  • Proactively search for and reach out to potential candidates on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms

Scheduling & Customer Service

  • Maintain caregiver schedules
  • Coordinate schedule changes with caregivers, patients, and families
  • Quickly resolve call-offs and last-minute schedule changes
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and caregivers

Caregiver Relations & HR Support

  • Maintain strong relationships with caregivers through regular check-ins
  • Understand caregiver availability, preferences, and needs
  • Track certifications, background checks, and training requirements
  • Ensure required trainings and documents are always up to date

On-Call Coverage

  • Normal office hours are 8am to 4pm Eastern US time (New York time)
  • We are a 24/7 business, so we need someone who can participate in a rotating on-call schedule to help handle urgent scheduling needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience using Indeed or similar job boards
  • Comfortable conducting phone interviews
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Calm and solution-oriented under pressure
  • Experience in healthcare, staffing, or home care is a big plus
