A Day In The Life:
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our operational workforce. Reporting to the Payroll Chief, you will collaborate closely with a team of two peers and work in partnership with the Human Resources team to ensure our payroll process for our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Payroll Processing: Collect, review, and upload payroll data (e.g., incidents, overtime, and compensations) into the provider's platform, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the process.
- Final Review: Conduct a thorough review of payroll reports provided by the vendor to ensure error-free payments.
- Calculations and Adjustments: Handle severance payments, terminations, and payroll deductions, including tax withholdings and other variables.
- Reporting: Generate and deliver headcount reports to the HR leadership team for strategic decision-making.
- Social Security & Taxes Management: Oversee employee registrations and updates in the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) portal.
We Are Looking For
- Payroll Expertise: Proven experience in payroll processes and incident management.
- Data Analysis: Strong ability to interpret and generate actionable reports.
- Labor Law Knowledge: Familiarity with local labor regulations and compliance requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in calculations and data entry.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Administration or Accounting (preferred, but open to other fields).
- Software: Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas), SUA, IDSE.
- English proficiency (nice to have).
