This Position reports to:
Facility Manager
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a tenured member of the Real Estate function in the given geography/specialized area who owns a specific area of responsibility/topic within the function. Each day, you will improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effective service delivery, by analyzing and proposing the plan of actions for the function. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the systems implementation/upgrade in your area of functional responsibility.
The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite
This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Participating in defining, implementing, and continuously optimizing processes, procedures, and action plans for improvement, within area of functional responsibility, in alignment with the group guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Recommending, developing, and assisting in the implementation of special programs, in your area of functional specialty.
- Providing support for special real estate initiatives.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date maintenance of ABB owned/leased/rented property databases and other relevant records.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
- 4+ years of experience in similar roles as a facilities engineer.
- Experience in project administration and project management in facilities, maintenance, and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with SAP and/or Oracle.
- Experience in direct and indirect personnel management.
- Advanced level of English (conversational).
