Plant Buyer

What you'll be doing:   

• Source and purchase materials, supplies, and services required for plant operations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
•  Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure materials meet required standards and specifications.
• Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Additional Responsibilities as Assigned.  

This position is in our Querétaro, Mex. Location

We'd love to hear from you if:  

• Prefer Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
