Job Summary:
This is a senior lead role that provides critical cross-functional leadership for lifecycle governance overseeing the management of the services POR that tracks and ensures progress and adherence to the requirements of the POR process. This role is responsible for managing the POR intake funnel, triage, prioritization and resourcing, lifecycle gate oversight & governance bodies, and removing blockers to enable progress as initiatives advance through the phases of the service lifecycle. This role ensures cross‑BU alignment, lifecycle compliance, data‑driven prioritization, and continuous improvement of POR processes to keep the submission and gate cadence healthy and avoid downstream impacts to successful service and project releases. The role requires stakeholder coordination, to enable real‑time collaboration with core stakeholders and executive decision forums, minimize latency for reviews, presentations, change management and maintaining effective communication cadence across worldwide teams. This role is broad in scope and cross‑functional coverage, required subject-matter mastery, and responsibility for steering high‑impact, company‑wide lifecycle governance and program continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced program and project management skills and subject matter knowledge to maintain and manage the POR and milestones for progression, accuracy and up-to-date content ensuring process requirements and oversight are met.
- Apply broad knowledge of the BUs across the company, their products, their processes, general business fundamentals, the services portfolios and how that's managed to enable sound decision making.
- Take ownership and leadership of the program, driving to attain annual goals and objectives.
- Independently advise leadership on strategic direction.
- Sufficient understanding of data structure and analysis to extract intelligence for data-informed / data-driven decision making, striving for automation where possible.
- Performs business analysis, identifies root cause, and develops recommendations / solutions to drive business improvements
- Work cross-functionally across many stakeholder organizations to drive cross-org collaboration and deliver results.
- Provide subject matter consultation.
- Demonstrates significant independent judgment and problem-solving skills within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best methods for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
- Works across regions/geographies and Worldwide (WW) teams and gets results through functional management.
- Executes to numerous products and services through activities having complex requirements and tight time frames.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Education & Experience:
- Typically, 8+ years to establish proven track record in Service Business Management.
- Basic experience in one of the related disciplines of delivery, solution architecting or business planning prior to taking business management role.
- PMP is a plus
- Lean certification or lean process expertise is a plus
- Agile/scrum knowledge or expertise is a plus
- Mastery in English
- Medium to high knowledge of IT and services industry.
