Overview:

Are you ready to advance your career in customs? We are seeking a skilled Customs Specialist who excels in import/export operations. You will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in managing temporary inventories and overseeing the preparation and control of Annex 24 and Annex 30.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes for the reconciliation of Annex 24 and Annex 30 inventories.
  • Analyze and manage the balances of temporary imports within the Customs system.
  • Analyze and control discrepancies between Annex 24 and SAP, ensuring appropriate corrections across systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret information such as Bills of Materials (BOM), tables, and classifications.
  • Manage and update Data Stage.
  • Handle import and export operations, including temporary, definitive, virtual, regime changes, and returns.
  • Prepare import/export reports to comply with both Mexican and American regulations, as well as internal requirements.
  • Process import and export documentation in accordance with Mexican and American customs requirements.
  • Serve as an internal auditor for OEA-IVA-IEPS.

Qualifications:

  • Completed University Degree: Bachelor's in Foreign Trade, International Commerce, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Conversational English 80%
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in foreign trade operations
  • Knowledge of Customs Law
  • Familiarity with general foreign trade regulations
  • Understanding of NAFTA tariff preferences
  • Expertise in Annex 24 and Annex 30
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proficiency in customs systems
