Quant Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Quant Analyst to join KaxaNuk, where you will leverage mathematical, financial, economic, and computational techniques to analyze financial markets, develop and implement quantitative models, and provide data-driven insights that inform investment strategies, research publications, and analytical dashboards.

You will support our Quant Researchers and Developers by conducting data analysis, building and testing models, performing statistical assessments, and communicating findings on financial markets.

Tasks

Market Research

: Conduct in-depth analyses of financial markets, focusing on trends, investment opportunities, and risk factors.

Programming

: Implement and test quantitative models in Python, adhering to KaxaNuk's coding standards and architecture.

Data Analysis

: Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to large datasets to identify patterns and trends relevant to financial markets.

Modeling

: Develop mathematical models and algorithms to derive insights and support investment strategy development.

Backtesting

: Evaluate historical performance of quantitative models using past market data.

Scenario Analysis

: Assess how different economic scenarios may impact financial portfolios and identify sources of risk.

Documentation

: Maintain clear documentation of model specifications, assumptions, and methodologies for transparency and reproducibility.

Visualization

: Design and implement dashboards that translate complex financial data into actionable insights for decision-makers.

Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python is required.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling, machine learning, and financial markets is a plus.
