What you'll do: 

  • Own the commercial performance of the POC and Handheld Ultrasound segment across Latin America, ensuring alignment with regional business objectives and global strategy.
  • Lead market development initiatives to expand adoption in underpenetrated segments such as primary care, emergency medicine, critical care, and rural health.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, clinical applications, service, operations, and finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Drive strategic planning by leveraging market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis to shape portfolio positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team of regional product and clinical specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
  • Act as a regional voice to global teams, influencing product roadmap and marketing strategies based on local needs and regulatory environments.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and quality systems across all activities.

What you need to have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in medical devices or diagnostic imaging.
  • Proven track record in product management, commercial execution, or market development in Latin America.
  • Fluent in English; professional proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.

What would be nice if you had it: 

  • MBA or postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Healthcare Management.
  • Prior experience in Ultrasound, especially in Point of Care or Handheld segments.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement models, and clinical workflows in Latin America.
  • Experience working in matrixed, multinational environments.
