RRG is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join its investment and operations teams in the Mexico office, focusing on agricultural investments and management. The investment team plays a key role in deal acquisition, development, and management, collaborating to conduct financial, operational, and strategic analyses across a diverse impact investment portfolio. The position is intended for candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance and/or M&A. The role offers a unique opportunity to be part of one of the largest asset managers globally focused on water, agriculture and renewable energy, and access to professionals in more than 12 countries. The successful candidate will be energetic and entrepreneurial, with a passion to learn and work collaboratively with a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.

RRG has active projects throughout 12 countries under several funds and investment vehicles and offices in Los Angeles, Mexico, Chile, and Australia.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance and/or M&A.
  • Superior writing and verbal skills in both English and Spanish
  • Basic accounting skills, with proficiency in analyzing financial statements.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and produce accurate deliverables.
  • Problem Solver - capacity to apply knowledge and skills to solve and manage complex problems.
  • Team Player - ability to build and manage relationships effectively within teams and with clients.
  • Self-starter - takes initiative and ownership of projects and drives progress with limited direction in a non-hierarchical entrepreneurial organization where teamwork, humility, and a learning mindset are critical to success.
  • Agricultural experience is a plus. 

Responsibilities

  • Generating detailed financial models to analyze existing and potential investments. 
  • Supporting asset managers in measuring and managing investment performance. 
  • Leading the asset management of RRG's portfolio companies and the analyst team in Mexico.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Summarizing and presenting results to management, Investment Committee and investors.
  • Developing and analyzing innovative ways to identify, value and monetize sustainability measures.
  • Conducting industry research and market analysis corresponding to potential and current investments and supporting development of new investment theses.
