About The Role
In this role, you will play a significant role in strengthening our pricing strategy and execution in the Mexico market by introducing a dedicated MX Pricing Lead role. This position will centralize pricing ownership, increase quoting capacity, improve competitiveness, and allow the Carrier Sales team to focus on their core functions of carrier coverage and service execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrier development, coverage, and service execution and create operational inefficiencies such as delays in quote turnaround time, inconsistent pricing approaches depending on the individual rep. and limited visibility and strategy around cost benchmarks and market competitiveness.
  • Reduced bandwidth to pursue new opportunities due to the pricing workload.
  • Centralize all pricing activities for Mexico and cross-border lanes.
  • Develop and oversee the pricing strategy for Mexico, ensuring rates are competitive and aligned with profitability goals.
  • Act as the main liaison between the Mexico team and the commercial teams.
  • Manage the quoting process for bids and spot opportunities, consolidating data and market inputs.
  • Enable Carrier Sales Reps to redirect their focus toward capacity development, service quality, and relationship management.
  • Drive structure, standardization, and process control within the Carrier Sales department.
  • Over time, as volume and opportunity growth continue, this structure will scale naturally to include support positions such as MX Pricing Analyst or Pricing Specialist, reporting to the Lead.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a pricing team in a 3PL environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Ability to commute to the Gudalajara office (Hybrid work culture)
  • Experience with creating and managing a team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and articulate the data to present it to the Senior Directors
