Relocation support is available for individuals outside of Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team by hiring, mentoring, and encouraging their growth. Provide feedback, resolve conflicts, and align efforts with organizational goals to ensure a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Promote AI integration by aligning initiatives to strategic goals, enhancing innovation, and preparing teams for advanced technical challenges with ethical practices
- Establish a robust software development framework aligned with industry standards and tailored to project requirements
- Monitor emerging technologies, tools, and trends in the Java ecosystem and implement relevant advancements to boost efficiency or performance
- Address critical challenges as part of SWAT activities to ensure effective issue resolution and minimize downtime
- Maintain knowledge of the latest Java technology stack, frameworks, and tools to stay at the forefront of advancements
- Participate in ongoing professional development through courses, certifications, and training
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to customers and stakeholders, presenting alternate approaches to achieve project outcomes
Requirements
- Hands-on expertise in Java with demonstrated skills in performing code reviews, optimizing technologies, and resolving complex issues
- Background in designing and delivering cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, with a focus on ensuring scalable and reliable solutions
- Ability to navigate business goals and effectively communicate with stakeholders while defining and addressing significant architectural requirements using the Java technology stack
- Competency in integrating Engineering Excellence practices to ensure development quality and fostering a high-level engineering culture
- Familiarity with defining, tracking, and managing development metrics to align progress with both business and delivery objectives
- Experience managing distributed teams and facilitating smooth collaboration across regions
- Strong leadership to motivate and mentor teams while achieving ambitious targets
- Proficiency in communication and trust-building with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
