What you will do?

Johnson Controls is seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce Developer with expertise in Coveo to join our dynamic team for managing enterprise grade B2B Commerce salesforce portal. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Salesforce development and a proven ability to create scalable and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to meet business requirements and deliver high-quality Salesforce applications.

How you will do it?

  • Develop and implement robust Salesforce applications and solutions tailored to business needs, incorporating Coveo for enhanced search capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of developed solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, Coveo updates, and new features, providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Salesforce development, including experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
  • Experience with Coveo for Salesforce is a must, including its implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, data models, and security features.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration techniques.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards).
  • Solid skills in building websites using VF Pages, Aura, LWC, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Understanding Salesforce best practices and design patterns.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.
  • Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I) and Coveo Platform Developer Certification are highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
