Join our team and start your journey today Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly skilled General Accounting Senior Analyst within our Global Business Services (GBS). This role will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day processing of general accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy in entries, while compiling financial reports and analysis.Accountabilities

• Supervise the general accounting team with 2-7 direct reports, providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment to drive performance and professional development.

• Oversee daily financial data entry in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare and post journal entries and manage general ledger account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring all financial activities are accurately captured. Prepare detailed financial data for management review and facilitate necessary adjustments.

• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing insightful variance analysis and reports that deliver actionable insights for informed decision-making.

• Review and present financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data and streamline reporting processes.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the general accounting function, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals and risk management strategies.

• Develop ad-hoc reports and support special projects, such as financial data analysis and process improvements

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, Business Administration or a related field

• 3-6 years of relevant experience with general accounting.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

Preferred:

·       Master's degree in a relevant field or Chartered Accountant designation

Technical Skills and Knowledge

Essential:

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

·       Familiarity with Oracle ERP Suite and its related modules

·       Familiarity with Hyperion Finance Management (HFM)

·       Solid regional accounting knowledge (i.e., US GAAP and IFRS)

Languages

Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is required.

Portuguese is a plus.

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
